I'm on BasicMed, but AOPA's database states "FAA eye evaluation/night flying prohibited while using" for topical tretinoin. I know oral isotretinoin (Accutane) has night flying restrictions, but topical tret? I use it for anti-aging. Do I need to go back to OTC retinol?

Why would you expect the AOPA database to reflect the FAAs?

You are mistaken in your interpretation of what AOPA has up. It is the oral stuff that a problem.
