Travel Tool Bag contents

Back into this conversation. Looking for the Knipex pliers wrench. I see some on Amazon and other places for ~$60. And then I find these for 10% of that. Spoofed website or something?

AI says this is a bogus website.

One other comment. Harbor Freight has a knock-off of the 10" pliers wrench for about $40. They don't seem to carry other sizes.

The US site is https://www.knipex-tools.com/

I have an old portable tool kit (pliers, wrench, sockets) that I keep in the plane. I have a seperate toolkit that I take when I rent 45-46' cats in the BVI. It has a couple knipex pliers, some Zyklop screwdriver/socket kits, and the cutest little version of a Fluke multimeter you've seen. Last time I was out, the battery terminal on one of the house batteries came loose and the most approrpiate tool on board was a hammer (which worked for the short term, but I suggested to the company that it might be good to put a proper wrench on it).

one forty-five caliber automatic
two boxes of ammunition
four days' concentrated emergency rations
one drug issue containing antibiotics, morphine, vitamin pills, pep pills, sleeping pills, tranquilizer pills
one miniature combination Russian phrase book and Bible;
one hundred dollars in rubles
one hundred dollars in gold
nine packs of chewing gum
one issue of prophylactics
three lipsticks
three pair of nylon stockings.
Shoot, a fella could have a pretty good weekend in Vegas with all that stuff.

:biggrin:
