Hey everybody!

I am an Archer III driver, which I love dearly, but I made plans to rent a 172SP G1000 in 3 weeks down in Florida. I flew G1000 twice in last 2 years and found it to be too easy to operate, however I never checked out in one.

At this point I know all the basic operation for VFR (at least I think so) and wanted to better prep myself for a G1000 checkout.

KingSchools G1000 is way too expensive ($249) and based on internet reviews is made for IFR pilots, but Sporty's is only $89, but reviews (very limited) said too light for a checkout.

WHAT SAY YOU? :)

Try www.Garmin1000.com. The multimedia checkout course costs $39 for a one year access and there's a 100% money-back guarantee of satisfaction. Plus, it includes a lesson the GFC 700. That's something a lot of courses don't cover. You can't lose.
