750# with 86 gallons -

you can go a long way, fast, and take alot with you.

An absolutely great cross country machine. Will fly it to you - free -

NO CASH - this will be IRS 1031 exchange for both personal property and IRS tax reasons. I'll go all the paperwork.

The price is this airplane - imported back into the US:

http://www.controller.com/listingsd...le/CESSNA-177RG/1975-CESSNA-177RG/1358583.htm

I'm going to assume you can get it for less than $90,000 - and you can easily get it to your local airport and properly re-imported for no more than another $3000 . . . .

Its pretty much an even swap value wise. . . we are each responsible for our own taxes, sales, personal property or otherwise. . . .

Dang.... Joe's gonna get my airplane before I have a chance to shake down my couch cushions and sell my exotic pocket lint collection.

I hope you get it. I know you've had the Comanche for like forever. But that very nice 177RG will be a good replacement.

And if you do get it. I want a ride!

Wonderful Comanche! Too much airplane for the buzzing around I do, but if I needed such a plane, I'd be all over this deal.

Just curious, and perhaps I missed the discussion on a different thread - by why the move to a 177RG?

Did you do the Aussie replacement on the tail?

Mine is the same and I always wondered myself!

Good luck with this deal. I suspect it's going to be quite complicated to coordinate!
