Are you talking about Ocean Breeze? I was sent to look at it, at $30MM it was over priced by about $21MM, if not more. She's an old boat needing a lot of work, she might have been scrapped.

She was in France when I looked her over in hell, had to have been 08 or 09, she had no weapons systems onboard. The French had seized her on behalf of the Iraqi govt IIRC.
 
Why don't they buy up cruise ships and be done with it? Ever wonder where your gas money ends up? Now ya know. I find it interesting that there aren't any Americans on that list, yet I imagine some here could afford it.

Many of those boats are offered for charter. I have friend that brokers charters and he does quite well. He's had a great stable of airplanes over the years too.
Remember the old adage - "If it flys, floats or f*cks - in the long run its cheaper to rent then own !".

Dennis washinton used to park his Boeing, one of his helicopters and his twin turboprop otter by my cherokee at KMSO :rofl: ( I have the pictures ). He's yacht is alleged to be $250,000,000 I saw a couple of Americans in the video. I believe Larry Elison was in there.
 
$4.8B for the last one? You could buy several of the others and still have a good chunk of change left over.
