Top Gun (sort of)

Just forwarded to my youngest son...he could quote every line in that movie! Funny.

Ok, My 14yr old son and I just watched that and cracked up.

We also watched the mr. Rogers Nuclear Neighborhood, and I then tossed him out after the gold bond started.

Good to see our Air force still has a sense of humor. :)

That was a riot -so realistic!
I've always wondered were they got the idea for Top Gun.

I know one of the Top Gun fighters in the movie - he had a small one line part near the beginning. neat huh? can't believe it was 20 yrs ago.

I was at Miramar when they started putting the film together and attended a casting call... full flight gear, etc ... but of course no portfolio, no agent, just another sailor ... didn't get 30 seconds of their time ... oh well, "I coulda been a star!"

"Two of your snot-nosed jockeys did a fly-by on my tower at over 90 knots!"

That single line would've made the movie so much better. :D

And I don't think I would've ever imagined Cessnas flying to Kenny Loggins.
