Today was amazing. No wind to speak of all day (under 5 knots and variable all day) warm on the ground, but at 4,000' it was 55 F. :D

A few puffy clouds at the level made for nice pylons. ;)

Two flying meal places. One breakfast, one lunch and a car show at the second one. The planes parked next to the cars. Do a low level pass, land, crawl out of the plane and you were a rock star for the car crowd.

What a great day to fly!

I lasted about 30 minutes today.
Too hot in Texas

Did the canada part of the Alcan highway. Unusually hot today. Very high density alts. Other than that great day.

?? It was a GREAT day to fly in Texas!

We flew a couple of hours today. Down to McAllen and back. It was 70 degrees at 9500' -- beautiful!

Mary discovered an airport with a freaking shopping mall at the end of the runway. I suspect we'll be going to McAllen more often.

Are you going to need Atlas back for the useful load? :D

Saw your plane being towed to the flightline. Called you but you didn't pick up.

I had 55WB scheduled to fly some newbies around the patch. But other club member "ignored" the schedule and kept the plane a day longer than he reserved it for.

Other day I am looking forward to flying is Annual Talk Like A Pirate Day in September.

"Ahoy, Denton Ground, this be the good ship Five-Five-Whiskey Grog-Bravo berthed at Taxiway Hotel. We be requesting taxi clearance and we have the fair weather numbers, Arrrhhhhrrrr."

HaHa my plane doesn't know what 9500 is.
looks like qtr 1 next year Dad and I will be getting our HP/complex rating and solving our altitude and speed barrier issues. :)

That is no fun.

We were fixing a headphone jack and were going to fly to breakfast then out to Spinks to check out the plane wash.

We just flew to Beacon cafe and back. Was too hot for little hops like that so we probably got .5 in the logbook.
