Tools for every one

Hey, I've been needing Muppet work gloves! Where is this sale??

The sale prices are a really good deal over the criminally low regular prices.

The really scary thing is that the garden hose/extension hose is almost a real item. There is a water hose with a built in heater wire to keep it from freezing. I think it's about $29.99 per foot though.

I could use some Bono safety glasses and a carpenters dreidel.

Gaydar, Personal Bible, and Paternity Tester?

LOL. Wow. Someone outdid themselves.

Perhaps, that's the company that can sell the road tested airbags I have from the steering wheels and dashes of the cars I'm parting out.

That's really funny, Tom! Anybody who has bought from Harbor Freight and then received their flyers and catalogs will totally understand.

Personally, I like Harbor Freight. One of my favorite stores.

I can usually afford good tools. I've never flung a quality tool at the wall and yelled "I wished to hell I'd have bought a cheaper tool".

That said, there is a small class of power tools that you can't find anywhere else. I needed a tiny 1" benchtop belt sander for a short term job. $30 at HF.

Yep. I've bought HF stuff for one-off jobs where I've never needed that thing before and can't imagine ever needing it again, and HF is 10% the price of Sears.

If you like Harbor Freight, try Northern Tool. HF is great for one-off cheap stuff, as mentioned above... NT is good for the stuff you'll keep and use again.

I like Northern Tool as well but there isn't one that close. Harbor Freight just is what it is..some of the stuff there is junk and not worth the crap price they want and some other things are perfectly acceptable.

They just put one at 72nd & Pacific in Omaha. You have a Fly Baby, won't that land in the parking lot? :)

Very well done. Hazard Fraught Tools. Yup. Absolutely.

But I still prefer the good ol' standby:

www.kalecoauto.com .

Particularly the "budget lowering kit" and the 710 cap

I've always made big messes opening bottles of 710 for some reason. They need to stock something for that problem.

Very funny.

Northern Tool is only one notch above them in quality. 'Walmart for tools' is probably the best description.

I sell those along with 28-ounce water pumps for the Datsuns.

Haha. Dang, you're old. [I know: pot, kettle, black]

280Z's have been out of production since 1978. And the Datsun name went away in the early 80s, in favor of Nissan.

My parents had a butt-ugly purple Datsun 710 hatchback around the same time. I guess it was better than a Renault Le Car or an AMC Gremlin.

I had one of those 28oz Datsuns ... but mine was a "4" ... (2+2) :) altho the back 2 was too small for our 4 year old ...so it was really a "3" (2+.5+.5)
