Nope. I came close because gentle Ben almost pushed me in but I managed to get out of the way. Flipper was down there egging on Ben. It’s all Flipper’s fault. Never trust a dolphin

    Is ChatGPT wrong yet again?

Did Lassie ever save Timmy from a well?

Yes, there is a famous storyline in the television show "Lassie" where Lassie saves Timmy from a well. The storyline became a cultural reference, and the phrase "Lassie, come home!" is also associated with the show. In the storyline, Lassie, a rough collie, alerts Timmy's family that he has fallen down a well and then leads them to the well where Timmy is trapped. The show first aired in 1954, and the "Lassie saves Timmy from a well" storyline has become an iconic moment in television history.

Tortoises are a hard pet to outlive, l got three of them. The dog will make an interesting conundrum. Phyzzbyn is a ten year old Lhasa Apso. Lhasa's are among the longest lived dogs, and if she lives as long as I hope she does Mrs. Steingar will be an octogenarian when she passes. As such I suspect she'll be our last dog. A truly sad thought. Oh well, I've always got the tortoises.

We lost one of our dogs last year--16 years old. I didn't want to get another dog (we still have one) because of our age, and I don't want to outlive the poor thing. Husband insisted because he thinks our remaining dog is more mine than his. I told husband that if he wants a puppy, he has to do all the work. He did and he has--mostly. Good little dog, but I'm still worried about him outliving us.

If you were worried about outliving your dog, why not get an older dog from the local animal shelter? Pound Hounds are grateful.

Oh, baloney. Look, just because something wasn't shown on TV doesn't mean it never happened!

Congratulations on the new member of the family. He's a handsome dog. We also recently became owners of a mongrel Labrador, though we have a pale color

Had to put down one of our dogs in January. Adopted this little puppy at the beginning of February. Our other old dog pretends she doesn’t like the puppy, but when she thinks we’re not watching they’re playing together.
