I rarely look at a Robinson 44 without thinking of Bob. Recently, I was present while a helo CFI was prepping his student for a checkride. He was discussing a SFAR with the student. I instantly recalled the post where Bob was talking about the oddball regulation and its application to the 44. His memory lives on in even some of the most minute details of our lives.

I do wish I could have met the man.
