I am going for my third class medical for private pilot. My medical was deferred and the review from FAA Aeromedical ended up as a denial with instructions for reconsideration. I figured that would happen. I have submitted my updated the reporting requested with a clinical progress note for use of Escitalopram back in December 2023-January 2024, an updated type-II sleep study which resulted in mild sleep apnea, and an updated Diabetes Report with Oral Medication (A1C 5.8). What has been the history on review and decision of these updated documents? Any roadblocks ahead? I have scheduled a consultation for CPAP compliance if it is necessary with a sleep specialist.
