Time for plastic?

My new ticket went live on the FAA website a couple of weeks ago but the card hasn’t arrived yet. Anyone know about how long that’s taking these days?

I got my new card in about 3 weeks. Closer to 2 I think.

Okay, probably in the next few days, then. We have occasional mail delivery problems, but I won’t worry for another week or two.

It took about that to show up on the FAA website but I didn’t expect an additional 5 weeks for the card.

About 5 weeks for my plastic to show. You do remember that you had to pass the checkride, right?

FWIW, my student pilot card took 7 weeks from application, and about a week from when it showed up in iacra.

That’s why I paid extra to the DPE.

Mine was issued June 22, was processed a couple of weeks ago, and now shows up on the website. I’m just curious how long the cards are taking to arrive in the mail.

Most of mine ran about five weeks but that was a couple of years ago when they were always behind.

I can’t remember a time in my lifetime when they weren’t always behind, but that’s a different thread and probably gets me banned.
