Is there a safe place to leave your plane over night at GYY? We will purchase fuel, is there a charge for the tie down? The flight would be next weewkend. Thanks in advance.

Yep, Gary Jet center. You'll be inside the fence, and they're good people. No worries.
 
Your plane will likely be safer than you will be once you leave the airport. I've been through there a few times.
 
We survived an overnight there on the way to osh. I think we stayed at a marriot next to cracker barrel and had no issues. Coleman FBO had good service when we stopped this year and they just built a new fbo.
 
Call ahead and ask. Don't get the FBO surprise at the counter.
