I just want to say that of every site I go to, POA presents the LEAST problems in logging in, posting, replying, navigating the site, etc.

Ditto. AOPA is such a pain in the butt to log in that I flat out stopped using it.

And student pilot has a strange layout which does not show subscribed threads quite as nicely.

And purple board doesn't seem to do automatically some things that I have configured POA to do.

We mostly don't go messing with things - vBulletin is decent software but people screw it up by trying to constantly add new features (like thread ignore for Wayne) and end up with a really buggy install.
