They were installed at Amphibian's Plus. They are some form of composite material---I called it fiberglass but it might be something slightly different. I was just overjoyed that they had such capacity and that they should be far less prone to any water intrusion. I don not think any factory sponsons were made this way. Of course, we just dipped into the Lake scene last February so I am not exactly an authority on these planes.
