Thoughts on FAA/EAA's response to Jack Roush's Accident

Heard about it.

The THIRD time I entered the arrival at Fisk, I was turning inbound in front of and slightly lower than an RV-7 or -8. I was hoping he had me in sight. High wing below and in front of a low wing is not a good combination.

Wow. Every pilot's worst nightmare. That's almost precisely the day and time that we were doing the FISK approach. We must've been just a few minutes ahead or behind them.

"There, but for the grace of God..." It's pretty astounding that there was no loss of life...
