Thomasville Georgia Fly-In

The 42nd Annual Thomasville Fly-In (TVI) is this weekend (Oct 9-11).

I hope the weather cooperates because this is one of my favorite fly-ins. Nevertheless, the McFarland family will be going, fly or drive, since we meet friends there every year.

Great fly in with a great "country' atmosphere. I plan on being there Saturday weather permitting.

BTW for several years I did the helicopter rides there using a Hughes 500.

Weather permitting the wife and I will be flying down on Saturday and flying home on Sunday.

Hoist a glass for Mike Schneider, late of this board and of Tallahassee, and the first claimer in the sadly-lost ConUS Challenge. He flew everytwhere around there in his Maule, and certainly touched Thomasville.
