The former Ford Airport is now the Ford Dearborn Proving ground. There was some runway surface still there into the 1990's or so - and still marked with an X. All that is left now are some of the hangars used as garages / offices and the Dearborn Inn across the street.
The remainder of the hangars were replaced with new buildings a couple of years ago (new buildings are much nicer, but I miss the history of the hangars), and there were still parts of the runways up until the last re-configuration of the tracks (~2006). My office happens to be within the proving grounds...
