I (very) indirectly know the owners of the railroad credited in the photo. They used to own the Georetown Loop railroad also.

All I can say is the third party shared stories of owning a tourist railroad or any sort of "vintage" rail cars, sounds like a great way to go broke as fast or faster as one could spending money on aviation.

Just never have been all that into trains. Yeah, we had an awesome HO setup when I was a kid, and I have family members that are rail fanatics. I’ve even traveled by train across NE, CO and WY. Just never got into it. To each their own.

People that do this sort of thing **ss me off. They've fixed everything at home, for the MIL and the inept BIL, at their church, for all the neighbors...and still have time on their hands. It's just not fair.
