Thinking about selling my Stratus 1

Bought it in February. Love it with Foreflight. Deciding whether to sell as I was given a Stratus 2 as a gift. Or should I give it to my son who is learning to fly.
 
You can do either. If you keep it in the family your son can use it for his own XC flights, ADS-B traffic, and in flight weather...Especially when he flies the coup (if he hasn't already). I would ask if he would legitimately desire it, if not... sell it. Stratus 1 is just as good as Stratus 2 minus the AHRS capability.

I'm a son, and always learning to fly? :dunno::D

If your son has an iPad/Foreflight subscription give it to him..he will learn to love it.
 
I'm kinda leaning that way. He's a college kid and I'm paying for lessons/flight time. He doesn't have an iPad mini.
 
He does. That's why I'm leaning towards giving it to him.
