Well, I've enjoyed a local EAA chapter for nearly a decade now. Not quite your normal chapter evidently. Yes, there a number of exceptionally aged aviators (as one POA member posts). But there is a mix of us 20, 30 and 40 somethings as well. (We won't talk about which group of whipper snappers I belong to).

I know several of the officers for the chapter. Great guys in every respect and examples of each group of aviators possible (from a C130 driver to a kit builder). Short of it is this: running a chapter of an organization like this wears on a person. I've ran a few. I know from talking with them it is time for fresh blood to flip pancakes and do all the howey required to make it happened...

Any other youngish EAA guys here? Oh snap! Just realized I never joined EAA... Oh well, any of you EAA folks in central Arkansas?
