For about a half hour. No 'puter. No Internets. No email. No lights.

For me, at my work - I would need a pick for "OH $$$it"

Or you have "vintage" breakers like I do. A few years back the main feed breaker to the Continental portion of Terminal 6 decided to trip one morning because (in it's opinion) it deserved a break. Pretty much took a Senior Wizard to coax it back to the closed position.

You forgot an option:

Climb a tall tower, naked, clutching a high powered rifle... :nono:

Last time that happened to me I was working dispatch. I just took a long lunch and the students just kept the aircraft longer.

I've been a part of an unscheduled breaker vacation. Turning a long final, I clicked for the lights and ended up blowing out the airport lighting transformer and tripping the breaker. The entire airfield looked like it was having a seizure.

The cause was found to be that the back forty taxiway lights were underwater from it raining and subsequently shorted out.

Would take a major catastrophe, not to be ready for the next POA post.

Sounds like the old christmas light problem. If one goes, they all go!

You missed the obvious choice of "Masturbate furiously in the men's room."

That's covered by item #10. Problem is it will be pitch dark in there. The hallway would be okay except it would be really, really inconvenient if the power came back on early.

The Latina one . . .was that flashlight or fleshlight?

Prob go for a bike ride if there was someone else home. None of the self-pleasuring options work because what if they get done early and you need to come down to sign something?

It was pretty anticlimactic. They didn't need to pull the main after all, they were able to isolate the trouble circuit and fix it. No drinking, no procreation in the hallway closet, no self abuse, no excuse to take off.

Oh well.

That's exactly our issue on our taxiway signs. They will work for about a week before something blows and takes out the whole system. They stopped replacing the blown bulbs, as there is no practical use since we only have one taxiway.

Darn it..!!!!

I would keep working since my laptop has a battery and I can tether with my cell phone to get internet access.

Since we do not electricity in Wyoming,,,, I would crank up the ol trusty Pewlett Hackard gas powered PC and check for POA posts...:)...........:goofy:
