There are 101 public airports in Illinois...

Very cool! In the state of Washington they have the Fly Washington Passport Program. You fly to the state airports and get stamps for your passport book. Every airport has their own stamp usually at the FBO or hidden somewhere. After collecting a set number of stamps in your passport you get a jacket. There are several patches that you can earn too. The passport booklet is free and can be picked up at a few airports (they will even mail you one if you request).

I think you should advocate for something like this in your state and request your jacket.

I did not know about the WA State passport program. I started my quest to bag every public, paved airport in WA State 20 years ago.
According to my records I've bagged 89 out of the original 135-ish+ (some have closed). I have 16 to go. SeaTac and Spokane International will take some planning. Most of the remaining are in the NE corner of the state.
(I know the numbers don't look right, but my original list may have some private and/or unpaved fields on it).
