Today I was hanging out with my classmate in the break room of a training facility when we started chatting with someone who came in during his break. It turns out he was about to take the type ride for the Citation X. He said he had just bought one, new from the factory. My classmate asked him what kind of business he used it for and he said "charity". He said he currently flies military and patient airlift in a Citation XLS+ (also a new airplane) and they are replacing it with the X. Of course I'm thinking... You-bought-a-brand-new-$24-million-airplane-to-fly-charity-flights???
But I guess it's true. I looked him up. Unbelievable, but kudos to him!

Just remember that in Texas, when the ash tray gets dirty, it's time to buy a new truck.

Gotta love the name "Shiksha Goddess"!

If I had that kind of money, I'd be doing the same thing.

Off to buy another Powerball ticket. :D

Outstanding concept and dedication.:idea::):):):yesnod:.
I agree. When he was telling us these things I'm sure my jaw was dropping to the floor. It was so unbelievable that it was unbelievable. There are a lot of people out there who tell stories so I was stunned when I looked on the internet and found out that the story he told exactly matches what is written, where he's from, his various airplanes, his picture, the other pilot's picture...

We need more people in this world, that are willing to help the people who are unable to help themselves. I'm not talking about "hand outs", but genuinely help someone, because you can and WANT to.

I honor this type of behavior

If I was to win the lottery, there would a few happy pastors, charities and causes and I probably would do something similar with the rest of my time and money...
