A long tiebreaker ended in the bottom of the 12th inning.

we dont get TBS so we had to follow on the website. even we were on the edge of our seats. awesome game!

I caught it starting in the 10th. Great game.

11-15 Since Sep 6 is the only reason there was even a game.

Alas, In the jungle of Detroit ----Tigers are very much like Lions:blush:. Yes ,very embarassing. The game was good ,but it should have never been necessary, the Tigers just blew it over the last couple of weeks.:mad3:

. . . . but the Yankees are hungry -- very hungry.

HR
Certainly with the payroll they have in N.Y. they can afford to eat:rolleyes:
Only good thing about the Yankees for us Mi. folks is Derek Jeter is from Kalamazoo Mi.:yesnod:

So is the result of the Big Bang 14 billion years ago.

Everybody knows it's Doubleday's fault.

Really both teams played well enough to win and bad enough to lose last night.

The Tigers can look at evey loss in the season and say if only we had saved that one.

It will be interesting to see if the hot Twins can split in NY now. Their pitching staff is probably a little tired going into tonights game.

It was a great game last nite, but its not looking pretty for the twins tonite 6-2 yanks top of 8th, NY is a machine that must be stopped! :yesnod:

Considering the Twins likely partied all night then flew to NY for the game, I wasn't surprised they faded early on this one. Hopefully they'll bounce back tomorrow.
