Every year at this time, the Leonid meteor shower briefly brightens the sky. The peak comes this weekend, in the hours before dawn on Saturday. If the weather is clear and you have an appetite, you may enjoy a quiet display of shooting stars.

It's apparently just about peak...some friends and I went out and couldn't see anything. There was lots of light around, so that could have been it. Or we were just looking in the wrong places at the wrong times.
