The Shepherd - CBC Christmas broadcast

Even though the opening credits say The Shepherd - Part One, the above is actually a re-post combined into one from four parts. Every aviator, of every vintage, ought to listen to this Christmas masterpiece at least once. Maitland's narration cannot be equaled.

Dad gave me the book, I think when I was in high school. I still have it somewhere, have to pull it out.
 
When I did my PIC instrument course, the instructor loaned me his copy to read the night before the checkride. All his students write him notes on the flyleaves.
