Is anyone else watching The Rehearsal?
Believe it or not, it turns out this guy is tackling some of the tougher issues facing pilots and the FAA right now:

To prime you for what is typical Nathan Fielder fare, here is the promo poster for Season 1:

The premise of the show is to re-create scenarios (including incredibly elaborate sets and method actors) that people are nervous about so that they can practice the various possibilities. If you're not familiar with Nathan Fielder, it's basically cringe comedy but high concept.
In Season 2 he decides he's going to take on the causes of plane crashes.

So far the two issues he's identified, through the three episodes that are available so far, are FOs being afraid to speak up to captains, and pilots hesitating to seek medical help since they have to report any visits to the FAA. We all know the latter has been argued to death on these boards.
With Nathan Fielder, you never know the lengths he's going to go to for a show. And with HBO's budget, he's really taking it farther than he's been able to up to this point. He re-created an entire airport terminal so that actors (who previously followed pilots to learn about their daily lives) could act out various scenarios. And after reading Chesley Sullenberger's memoir, he decided to attempt to live out Sully's childhood so that he could get into his headspace:

I've been a fan of his for a long time, starting with the Comedy Central show Nathan for You (highly recommended) but I never thought he'd attempt to solve issues related to the FAA. In a teaser for Season 2 it shows him speaking before Congress (apparently about one of the FAA issues?). Does anyone know about this?
I do recommend starting with Season 1 to gain [somewhat] of an understanding of his technique. I think we're in for a wild one for Season 2.
