The one at the naval museum is a P5M = Martin not Boeing :) I have time in that aircraft. :)

Been a long time since I've been there Tom. There were 2-4 of these big seaplanes parked on the back row back in the early 80s. That's cool you have memories with this plane though.
 
I DVR the original series. It comes on Saturdays here on some retro-TV channel. RFD I think,

Anyway, they are in the ones where the Masked Man is played by John Hart. But, the Dish Network info still gives the credit to Clayton Moore.

FETV (082 on Dish) runs a LR marathon every Saturday. Something like 10 hours of the original series, 20 episodes each Saturday. On Sundays they run the old Roy Rogers show.

I get a kick out of some of the fight scenes. Jay Silverheels was a former Golden Gloves boxer, and it's obvious that he knows what he's doing in the fist fights. He's much better at it than Moore.
 
Uhh...Johnny Depp never played the Lone Ranger.
 
What about the original radio serials? And other actors in the LR movie....
