Pilatus made news this week as the last PC-6 Turbo Porter left the factory in Stans, Switzerland, and was handed over to an Indonesian operator.

Today it crashed into the sea just after takeoff from Heraklion, on the island of Crete. Two persons were aboard; one was rescued.
