The last Concept Sky Commuter aircraft in Existence

If it didn't cost me a fortune in fuel to do so, it would be cool to drive over and see the thing.
 
I really hope that it goes to a good museum. Anyone know the story on why the rest of the prototypes were destroyed? I gather from this listing that the prototypes themselves crashed. but that's all I know.
 
Available engines aren't light and powerful enough for that aircraft yet but if they ever do reach that state of efficiency it will be a blast.
 
Well it went for $131,700.00, and in the Q&A section at the end the high bidder said it will be going to a museum.

Geeze, that rascal sure took a steep climb. When I looked last night, there was just over eight hours left and it was at only $55,000.
