Why? Why race something that's designed to be slow? Sounds like racing turtles. Or maybe Harleys.

They're faster than the vast majority of sail boats and racing those is a multi billion dollar a year industry as well. :dunno:

I never saw much point in racing them as either, but it sure as hell was fun on the old schooners. :lol:

But then, my only real goal has been having fun, my life hasn't been particularly practical. :lol:
