In actual IMC, trust your instruments and not your monkey.

If so equipped, use the autopilot to help reduce the workload. Trust but verify the monkey.

Well from what I can see of the VSI it looks like you are in a slight descent. That air speed indicator is at the top of the green arc and your monkey is pushing the bar up on your AI so it doesn't look like you are descending. Get rid of the monkey and adjust your AI.

that monkey is freakin AWESOME!!!!!!!! clearly pilot in command-ish here.
 
Dang, it does look like the monkey is doing chin-ups with the AI.

Yea, I kinda wondered what everyone was thinking when I mentioned the monkey on 122.8. Then again, you can hear some pretty interesting comments on 122.8.
