the drones re coming the drones are coming

[1600vw]

They are going to be putting on a demonstration of these drones at my flying field in a couple months.
If there is interests in seeing this and others want to come I will post a time and place.
If not sorry to bother everyone with this.

[timwinters]

Sure!

I'll bring my shotgun.

[Sleepingsquirrel]

I'd like to know if you could fly to and from your field that day.

[Norman]

They'd make for some good target practice with a sniper rifle.

[Silvaire]

I was planning on doing touch and goes that day. Is that gonna be a problem?

[Shawn]

I love the development of the fear of "drones" and how news agencies are even referring to a RC helicopter with a camera as a drone in the same context that they can launch a Hellfire missile into your backyard!...in my day, we called those a TOY!

[Norman]

@Shawn,

I was joking above. Certainly wouldn't even consider doing such.

You are correct about the media though. They have the sheep headed for the barn.

[Shawn]

Oh, I read the sarcasm and I would be right there with ya!...kinda like live action Skeet Shooting!
