Tonight my friend Gail S. Halvorsen is to be on PBS. along with Tom Brokaw with a segment about the Berlin Airlift of 48 - 49. He was on the today show this morning. I had the privilege of flying him into the back country a number of years ago.

He came to my daughter's school a few years ago. She was mightily impressed and talked about him for weeks afterwards.
