I saw 4 birds in formation and practicing maneuvers near IWA today.
Not sure if it's the big game crew but it sure was fun watching them.

Which group will be doing the flyover?

This link says the Thunderbirds, but the jets I saw today were not dressed up.

I used to fly blimps at NHL & NBA stadiums. Nothing surprises me after that

The USAF base west of Glendale is an F16 training base. Might have been them. The Tbirds won't get into town until Tues or Wed before the game.

Lot of Blackhawks flying today, maybe they are out there protecting us from anyone with a pair of nail clippers from getting near the stadium

It would be the worst fly over ever. It doesn't open big enough to get a real good look. It would be like watching a flyover through your sun roof in a Ford Fairmont while playing grabass with a high school sweetheart. Its just not a real good place to be for a fly over.
