That's not good.

Wonder what the story was here.

Odd approach to a gear up in a KA

[Archammer]

Looks like the gear was down, but maybe just hanging there via gravity but no hydraulic pressure.
So when he touched down the gear resisted for a second and then folded under.

Man he ran out of runway quick!

Why is the cop passing the fire truck?

[JHW]

they clearly knew they had a problem beforehand, wonder what the indication was ?

[txflyer]

Man that got squirrely. I'm glad he didn't catch a tip or dive in too hard on those bounces.

He got by the skin of his teeth on that one.

[Zeldman]

Why is the cop passing the fire truck?

Because he has the fastest vehicle?

[ClimbnSink]

Why get in the firetrucks way? Presumably there is no active crime and no auto traffic to manage.

Why is the cop passing the fire truck?

Better camera angle for his cell phone so he could post to YouTube.

[ktup-flyer]

Almost looks like an episode of Airplane Repo

[noobJohn]

Hey, he had to leave the donut shop to come over to the aiport. He'll find a crime somewhere. Maybe a nav light is out.

Why get in the firetrucks way? Presumably there is no active crime and no auto traffic to manage.

How do we know that was a cop and not the fire chief?

Or the airport manager. Or anyone with a $100 set of LED lights and an official sounding job title. Haha.
