Photo #1 is not mine. It was emailed to me by the RV-6A owner from whom I had bought my (former) C-150M. We reside in opposite ends of Hangar Building A at Wiscasset, Maine. My shot of his RV at IWI BH(Before Hangar) is also shown, as are his flight comments.
"Did you fly Sunday? We flew to Block Island, RI - winds 17G26+/-! Watched
one guy porpoise down the runway in a Cherokee6 just after I landed - it
took another pass with several more "landings" to get into the ramp!
Ouch... Walked into town, ate at the Mohegan Cafe & Brewpub and walked
the beaches. Very authentic, non-commercialized island/horse farm
community. It was torture not being able to sample the ales at Mohegan!!
Vans simply has an unbelievable airplane design..."
