I fly out of 9D9, and we only have 1 IAP in here. It uses the GRR VOR which is inside the 10nm circle of the TFR. The VOR is the IAF. The airport (9D9) is outside the 10nm but inside the 30nm ring. Could you be cleared for the approach, legally, by ATC?

Nope. The approach up to D9.7 is entirely within the TFR. Hope for good weather or move your bird.

There's an approach in FLA that's been rendered "offline" because of TFRs. Sad.

Or fly the ILS into BTL and scud run it back to 9D9 on a VFR flight plan? Ok, maybe not. I'm not worried, the TFR is only for 3 hours. Part of the IAP is in the 10nm no fly, and the rest is outside it. Is it possible for ATC to route you to a segment of the approach beyond the IAP?
