From what I've read the feds don't even have anything in place to regulate the AutoPilot stuff right now anyway, so it's hard to say.
Also, Tesla will be putting more safeguards in place on the system because, shockingly, people are being idiots with it already. Apparently some people have engaged it and then gotten into the backseat of their car.
