This is a total self contained unit with an A/C charger and 8 hour battery pack in the case. I bought this transponder years back from Terra to use on long distance balloon flights. It had only been on 2 flights. It has been sitting in my office ever since. Knowing that it had to be re-certified, I had a new battery pack made up before I found out there is an ( AD ) on this unit.
So take this into consideration if you buy this package. After the AD and certification is done this will be a great unit for a Balloon, Glider or any aircraft without an electrical system. I am selling it as is. Buyer to pay shipping cost
