You have a great idea to create a cashless payment system that leveraged the latest smartphone technology. You invest heavily in creating the infrastructure, coming up with a distinctive name, creating a brand, lining up retail partners, etc.

Then, half way around the world events force a change of plans. You notify all your partners to pull all advertisements and collateral with your branding. (My Verizon dealer showed me some of pieces they had pulled!)

Such is the life in the world of..... ISIS Payment Systems!

Now they're SoftCard. https://www.paywithisis.com/

(My Verizon dealer showed me some of pieces they had pulled! What crappie luck!)

Ouch! That would definitely suck.

That's right up there with Chevy's Nova branding in Spanish speaking countries, except calling it Nova was their own blunder because they should have known better beforehand.
