Tiny turboprop coming from Europe soon
5gph 2 seat tandem

If I have to ask chatGPT about how much your airplane costs, you may as well name it after a weed.

Sigh, I think I still want one of these.
I thought you'd go for the sling twin

:D I do like the sling twin. I equate twins and turboprops (and chutes for that matter) as equivalent (approximate) level of safety. I can't/won't afford a single certified tprop of any usefulness, so... this scratches a very specific itch.

...plus I don't have enough friends to fill the typical 6 seats of a tprop. So this will do me just fine.

Gippity says "420 grand" for this herb sprinkle. I do wish it didn't do the center-pedestal thing. The pics give me mooney-style jimmy-legs just looking at it.

I read somewhere a half mil
and surprisingly not much less for the Rotax version

Id like to know more about the reliability & longevity of that turbine/gearbox/governor/prop system

One of the U.S. dealers is based nearby at C15 (Pekin, IL).
They're often out ripping up and down the runway. Damn things are zippy with the Rotax. Looks Hella Fun.
Can't wait to see a turbine one.

Sweet little baby Jesus, I have been unaware of this development. Stuff just got real.
It's a really nice-looking bird, isn't it? I want one already (probably because the price hasn't been announced )

It's just a rendering right now. But this might make me pivot on what I want to build

Yeah, but it's a darn good looking rendering. And I agree with whoever posted in the other thread that said it looks like the child of a Baron and a Twin Comanche, both good-looking twins themselves.

I wonder what the cost of the homebuilt version vs the "LSA" version of the Sling Twin will be.
