Many of you will recognize Kevin Lacey from Airplane Repo. I got to spend some time with him and an organization he helped to create, and I can tell you he's a great guy and so much more than the guy stealing airplanes on TV!
Watching these young men and women work was amazing. I got to watch Kevin mentor them and all I can say is we need more programs like this, more people like him giving back!
Watching them interact with each other made for a fun day. They all have callsigns and like most callsigns, they earned them! Kevin mentioned the callsigns are fun, but also keeps their real names private, which he feels is important since they're on a lot of social media. In fact, I only learned the real first name of one kid while I as there and only because he's a photographer and I'm going to work with him.
