Girl gets peed on during PDX-JFK JetBlue flight

PORTLAND – An 11-year-old girl flying with her family from Portland to JFK airport awoke to find a man peeing on her during the flight Wednesday, according to a report in the New York Post.
Robert Vietze, 18, of South Warren Vt., stumbled from his seat five rows behind the girl and emptied his bladder, a witness said, in the New York Post report.
The girl’s dad came out of the lavatory in the middle of incident and started yelling at Vietze. Then, flight attendants moved Vietze to the back of the plane and did their best to help clean up the mess.
Vietze later admitted that he drank eight alcoholic beverages on the JetBlue red-eye flight. He was arrested for indecent exposure when the plane landed in New York, the report said.
 
Thats........disgusting. More like the inpatient ward at an old VAH.
 
I can imagine the cops' response - "Urine big trouble, buddy!"

Robert "Sandy" Vietze, of Warren, Vt., was detained by police at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport on Wednesday morning after arriving on a red-eye flight from Portland, Ore.
He faces a federal misdemeanor charge of indecent exposure, according to the U.S. Attorney's office in Brooklyn.

I hadn't seen he was an Olympic hopeful. That changes everything. Now it's not so much as 'youth is wasted on the young' but, 'the stress of competition became too much for this young victim'. I blame the coaches for failure to babysit. Why, he's still a baby! Was there a note pinned to his shirt?
 
In defense of flying commercial, if all you are worried about is pee, the chances of this happening to you on a commercial plane are astronomically small. The chance you doing this to yourself as PIC maybe not so small.

Sniffing your own fart ain't as bad as that from a stranger. Drinking straight out of the milk carton ain't so bad when it's just you. At least on GA you get to choose your seat mate.

But yes, gross is gross.
