In a nutshell, it failed to meet standards, and was eliminated from the PAFI competition, so only the Shell entrant remained.
The Shell entrant has also (again) failed.
Watch for the ascendancy of the only valid 100LL replacement, G100UL from Gami.

Seems Swift may be voluntarily out of PAFI, but not down for the count. GAMI, to my knowledge hasn’t ever been a PAFI participant.

GAMI chose not to participate in PAFI based upon their evaluation of the process, a decision that appears to have been well-founded. It still appears to be the best chance at a viable drop-in replacement.
