It just doesn't get much better than today's Mooney flight. Flew back home to 9A1 on the east side of Atlanta from Memphis. KAWM actually. 342nm in 1hr50min with 17 gallons of gas. Over 2/3 of the flight was over 200kts ground speed...215 max.
And you know what, I even had a tailwind flying out there on Monday.

Hey, it happens! I swear! I've seen it! Ask Pete - Last year on the FlyBQ trip, to which we added the Hudson, Niagara Falls, some Canada, and both peninsulas of Michigan which made it a 1700nm trip over the course of four days - We had a tailwind for the entire thing. :D

Sounds like fun, Lance! :yes:
