Super Cub mountain top landing

Dumb guy for shutting the cub down up there. no start is a death sentence in that cold.

Awesome. Could the shortest takeoff roll ever. Were his wheels on the ground for ~20' before falling off the cliff?

Not to worry, that landing site is another push, roll and glide away dead stick like the Highlander video guy does.

Super cool unless something goes wrong. Then, lot of splaining to do.

Yeah, that was supposed to be sarcastic. It certainly does take a lot of skill coupled with a healty dose of insanity to pull something like that off.

After falling from that high into that terrain, I don't think he'd be splainin' much...:yikes:

I can imagine the conversation with his first passenger on that run:
Pax: What are you doing, there's no runway there?!
Pilot: Sure there is.
Pax: There's no runway within 100 miles of here!
Pilot: Sure there is.
Pax: Woah, woah, what are you...there's no...woah...oh. Umm...ok. I guess there was a runway there.
