Just checked SnF on ForeFlight 17:45. Arrivals are stopped and there is a mass exodus of planes on both runways. Is there something going on?
 
Show runs late due to Amazon and they hold arrivals until departures leave.
 
The last stragglers are taxiing out now for departure.
 
Normal. People fly in for the show and fly out after the show.
 
From the NTOAM: "Due to the large number of departures after the daily airshow, arrival traffic is normally not accepted until 30-45 minutes after the airshow ends. Check arrival ATIS to determine when the airport is reopened"
 
Departures almost complete, Amazon currently landing, arrivals open soon.

This jetlet seems to be the last one getting out.

Lakeland tower just cleared arrivals.
 
Just seemed like a lot of departures. Backed up on taxiway P and D across 05/23, maybe 100 planes. Imagine there are a lot of frustrated pilots in the Parker hold. A lot had to leave this afternoon before the show.

As soon as the airshow is over there are always planes lined up from one end of the field to the other waiting to leave.
 
Arrival and departure were pretty easy. Our timing was just right on arrival, and we juat missed having to hold because of an Amazon arrival. Went right in from start point, parked in the front row, and only had maybe 15 or 20 in front of us leaving. The controllers and volunteers did a fantastic job keeping it flowing smoothly.
