"Checkrides" The point of the area would be discussions of checkrides with an emphasis on learning from others' experience. Also, one could discuss particulars of checkrides in local areas, available DPEs, etc.

Not a bad idea, but I think Checkrides are uncommon enough that a separate section isn't necessary - after all - they kind of are the culmination of Flight Training, for which we have a conference.

Now if we can get a "Checkride Wisdom" thread going - say if Cap'n Ron posts his own sage advice, we can stickify it as a sort of mini-FAQ.
